I'm getting Adobe creative suite 5 master collection for like $2500 and I want to know if I'm getting the best of the best in audio and video editing software
You won't go wrong with Premiere and Soundbooth - Premiere is one of the top industadobe creative 5 master collectionry film/video editing programs on the planet, and Soundbooth is a good editor in its own right.
One thing to remember about Premiere and After Effects CS5 - you need a 64-bit system to run them, as well as enough graphics horsepower (NVadobe creative 5 master collectionIDIA Quadro CX, Quadro FX 3800, 4800, or 5800, or a GeForce GTX 285) for SD/HD capture and rendering. I'd also recommend a minimum of 8gb's of RAM if you're running Vista Ultimate 64 or Windows 7.
