My friend was able to get 25 free songs from Emusic but it didn't ask her for a credit card number, but when I went to the site it asked me for one. What is the direct link to the free music without having to enter a credit/debit card number? Thanks (:

I think they were running the free trial without credit card only for a short time. They now require a credit card for all free trials to make sure that you haven't already received a free trial.
I've done the free trial and entered my credit card. I canceled before the 2 weeemusic free downloadsks was up and they didn't charge me one penny. I also got to keep all the free songs.

You can cancel you account by going to account maintenance and simply changing an option there.
Not sure about Emusic, but if you are looking for free music you can get tons of free songs (legally) from the Microsoft Windows myspace page. One of the best things aside from being free is that you don't need to download a program to your computer to download the songs; you can pull them right off the myspace page-

Okay heres wat i did get a zune account and download as much music as u can in 2 weeks then just b4 the time runs out remuve the drm with sound taxi (u can get it 4 free) and voula free non limewire legal music in mp3 format
